Anthropic on Wednesday announced Claude Duet, a personal agent offered as part of a new “research” preview, Engadget reported, which described the launch as Anthropic’s answer to Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots.
“It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working even when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf,” Anthropic said of Duet, according to Engadget. Anthropic subscribers in the US can join a waitlist to try the new agent, the outlet reported.
Anthropic’s product page presents Claude Duet as “Your personal AI assistant” and links to an announcement covering how it works, how it is built for safety, and how early testers are using it.
