Republican Mike Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed clashed onstage Wednesday during the second debate in the Michigan Senate race, which CBS News described as increasingly bitter.

NBC News reported that the debate, the final one of the campaign, featured several heated clashes between the two nominees, including over the cost of living.

NBC News identified El-Sayed as the Democratic nominee and Rogers as a former Republican representative. CBS News and NBC News both described the Wednesday onstage exchange as the second and final debate between the two.
