Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) faced Democrat Adam Hamilton, a pastor, in their final debate Wednesday night, amid signs that the race is tighter than Republicans had anticipated, The Hill reported.
The debate, the second and final meeting between the two, was hosted by Nexstar Media Group affiliate WDAF, The Hill reported. The Hill noted that Nexstar also owns its outlet, and said both men walked a narrow political tightrope on stage.
The Hill reported that Marshall is fighting for his political life in the contest.
