OpenAI will make its models available through Google Cloud, the companies announced, The Information reported. The move lessens OpenAI’s reliance on Microsoft, with which the two companies once shared exclusivity, the outlet said.
The partnership also underlines OpenAI’s pursuit of enterprise clients as it works to diversify its business, according to The Information. Ars Technica reported that OpenAI’s latest AI models are coming to Google Cloud and to Antigravity.
Separately, in a report included in the same cluster, the BBC said Google reported that a cloud outage affecting UK banks and websites had been resolved.
