Microsoft Offers Voluntary Buyouts to About 60,000 Employees
Microsoft confirmed Monday that it is offering voluntary buyouts to roughly 60,000 employees in the United States, Canada, India and Britain, a figure approaching a quarter of its 223,000-person workforce.
